Ocean to Table, from the point of capture to consumers.
The Ocean to Table Council was established by a group of companies with the shared goal of contributing to fisheries sustainability by enhancing resource management efforts by incorporating IT technology.
Development of the blockchain-enabled full traceability system is an important initiative for sustainable fisheries that have potentials to impact better resource management, geneate added-value of seafood products and help stabilize fishers income.
Through the activities of the Council participating companies will share expertise with one another regarding IT utilization for sustainable fisheries and the resulting knowledge and output through these collaborations will be shared for the greater good.
